February 18, 2015 ~ New Moon (waxing) ~ We are standing at the edge of an unexplored ocean and we cannot see very far ahead right now. Although the electric Aquarius New Moon at 6:47 pm EST marks the beginning of a new emotional cycle, it is stressfully aligned with the culturally shifting Uranus-Pluto square, bringing up issues of dynamic change. Additionally, the Moon and Sun both shift into surreal Pisces just moments later, corroborating the inherent instability of this New Moon.

The New Moon is a time best suited for new beginnings! For the first 48 hours following the exact time of the New Moon each month, a window of opportunity opens for making wishes that, if noted, come true in the days and months ahead. There is a tremendous amount of enthusiasm in the atmosphere, making it a great time to go forward and begin projects that you feel instinctively attracted to initiating.
