Moving forward with a project is favored, even if we must change our plans later in the day.

During this phase, you are a willful builder of new structures for yourself and society, and characteristically exert the utmost effort in order to achieve your goals of bringing new forms into reality, even in the face of resistance. January 27, 2015 ~ First Quarter Moon (waxing) ~ We prefer to maintain the status quo today, even if we're thinking about doing something entirely new. Although the progressive Aquarius Sun tempts us to strike out on our own, the stable Taurus Moon blankets reality with feelings of contentment. Meanwhile, lovely Venus drifts into the imaginal realms of watery Pisces where we can be confused by our desires. Happiness now depends on balancing our romantic side with a more practical approach.

Emotions begin to stir coupled with recognizing that the new beginnings you are making must also increase personal security to be worthwhile over the long haul. This is a time when it's appropriate to get in touch with your gut instincts and begin to guide your life more deliberately, with an awareness of using your "sixth sense" as well as your enthusiasm. Obstacles may emerge that require you to reevaluate how to better integrate yourself into your immediate environment.

Meanwhile, rational Mercury forms an anxious aspect to surreal Neptune now, pitting our analytical skills against our overactive imaginations. We may be confused by our daydreams because the boundaries that separate reality from fantasy are blurred.

Our optimism can make a good day even better as clever Mercury harmonizes with jolly Jupiter. The Moon's shift into imaginative Pisces at 12:36 pm EDT complicates our attempts to establish boundaries because we can't necessarily trust our perceptions. An emotionally expressive Venus-Pluto alignment deepens our feelings and enriches relationships. And an enchanting Mars-Neptune sextile encourages us to believe that all wishes can come true.
