Moon Phases This Week ~ Lunar News

Strange energies are lurking in dark corners of our world today, externally and internally. The quirky Aquarius Moon enables us to gain a new perspective on love, but it doesn't come easily as vulnerable Venus forms difficult aspects with Pluto the Transformer and Uranus the Awakener. Although we're likely to confront intense emotional issues, we must manage our anger, especially when the Moon squares aggressive Mars later this evening.

* Full Moon in Capricorn Tuesday the 19th
* Sun goes into Leo Friday the 22nd
* Moon moves through: Capricorn / Aquarius / Pisces

Full Moon in Capricorn ~ Get organized, make a list and check it off; a sense of accomplishment is the best cure for potential depression. The mood is determined, serious, competent, but uncomfortable without purpose or goal. Manage, don’t manipulate. Reach into history or tradition for answers.

Sun in Leo (July 22 ~ August 22) ~ Celebrate. Under the Fixed Fire Leo Sun, renew for the year ahead by living life to its fullest. Let the arts infuse joy; dance the body’s ripeness along with the ripening crops and relationships. The mood is creative, romantic, dramatic, lazy; remember to tend crops of all types.

Sun Enters Leo: Year at a Glance for Leo July 22 ~ August 22

If you’re born under the Leo Sun, let your soul light shine; light up the room for the benefit of all involved. Generous, idealistic, stubborn, expansive and creative, your challenge is to see the beauty in others, learn to listen and share the limelight.Resistance is fertile. Just when you think you can’t take it anymore and you are about to give up, give in, or give over, something new emerges. The miracle occurs. This year challenges you to be willing to let go of the ego-self—the masks you wear, the great bags of personal stuff you think you need in order to be you. Can you slough it off? Imagine how high you can fly without that baggage. Your parachute is letting go completely. Don’t hold on to the past; pull the rip cord and let it fly.
